Jeff Padovan, CEO

Mr. Padovan accepted the office of CEO of Bite Tech in September 2012. Prior to joining Bite Tech he held the position of President of the Americas for Polar Sports & Fitness Monitors from 2006 to 2011, the world’s #1 sports performance monitoring company. In this capacity he was responsible for the sales, marketing and distribution of Polar products in the retail, B2B and ecommerce channels to the sporting goods, pro & collegiate teams, health clubs, education, corporate wellness, insurance and OEM segments. He also held senior management positions at Thule Sport Racks, The Dr Pepper 7up Company and Kraft Foods. Mr. Padovan is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization(YPO), and holds board positions with the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association and the Executive Forum of Connecticut. He is a graduate of Rutgers University with degrees in Economics and Religion.

Barry Saunders, CFO and EVP, Finance

Mr. Saunders joined Bite Tech as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, Finance in March 2010. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Saunders worked with Burton Snowboards for nine years where he became the Vice President of Finance. From 1985 to 2001, Mr. Saunders served in the capacities of Retail Controller of Cole Haan, a subsidiary of Nike; Assistant Controller of Bass Shoes; Financial Planning and Budget Manager of Carroll Reed; and Vice President of Finance and Operations for a subsidiary of Reed & Barton. Mr. Saunders is a CPA and worked in public accounting with Ernst & Whinney after graduating from Bentley College in 1982.

Adam Werder, Director of Sales and Marketing 

Mr. Werder joined the company as Director of Sales and Marketing in November 2012. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Werder was the Director of Brand Marketing for Warrior Sports, a subsidiary of New Balance from 2002 to 2012. During his time at Warrior, Mr. Werder’s experiences included brand management for Brine and Warrior and channel marketing in lacrosse, field & ice hockey, soccer, footwear and apparel. Mr. Werder is a 2001 graduate of Yale University receiving a BA in history and earned 4 Varsity letters in NCAA Division 1 Lacrosse.

Troy Stephens, Canadian Manager   

Mr. Stephens joined Bite Tech as Canadian Manager in January of 2011.  Prior to joining the company Mr. Stephens worked for Weston Bakeries Limited from 2009 to 2010, where he held the position of Sales Representative/Territory Manager.  Prior to that Mr. Stephens served as Territory Account Executive for IKON Office Solutions.  Mr. Stephens played professional hockey for fourteen seasons from 1993 to 2007, ten of which were in Europe.  Mr. Stephens is a graduate of the University of Waterloo.
